With profound sadness, we would like to announce that Mary Ellen Robertson, a resident of Lynchburg, Virginia, passed away on January 1, 2024, at the age of 87.
Mary Ellen was born in Lynchburg, Virginia. Her parents, Eugene Matthew Gallaher and Mary Lee Hawkins Gallaher, both died before she was born.
Relatives remaining to continue to honor her memory include daughter Kathy H. Straw (husband Gary, lives in Forest); stepchildren Christopher D. Robertson (living in Raleigh, North Carolina) and Troy M. Robertson (living in Lynchburg); and grandchildren Amanda S. Smith (husband Shane), Gary L. Straw, Tyler Robertson, Brittany Robertson, Jonathan Robertson, Julia Robertson and Adelyn Robertson.
Visitation will be held on Friday morning, January 5, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Whitten Timberlake Funeral Home, located at 7404 Timberlake Rd, Lynchburg, VA 24502. Memorial services will also be held. will be held here at 11:00 am the same day.
In lieu of fresh flowers, the family would like people to make donations to the Lynchburg Police Foundation in her memory.
