UFC fighter Jamahal Hill was arrested on violence-related charges

Jamahal Hill, a 32-year-old former UFC Light Heavyweight champion, was just arrested in Michigan, USA earlier this week for allegedly assaulting his brother.

Jamahal Hill’s successful career
Jamahal Hill is an African-American MMA fighter, born and raised in Chicago. He started his UFC career in 2020 and quickly impressed with his strong, decisive fighting style.

The highlight of Hill’s career was his victory over former champion Glover Teixeira to win the 2022 UFC lightweight championship. However, he was forced to relinquish the championship belt due to an Achilles tendon injury a few months later.

Accused of violence against brother
According to court documents, Jamahal Hill allegedly assaulted his brother, James Anthony Hill Jr., causing “serious injuries.” Currently Hill is facing charges of “Domestic violence causing serious injury”.

Hill’s representative denied the accusations and insisted he was innocent. However, the incident is attracting public attention and could affect Hill’s image and career.
