On a fateful Sunday evening, a catastrophic collision occurred on Route 23 in Sussex County, claiming the life of 20-year-old Ryan Woodstead. The accident unfolded as a minivan was making a left turn onto the route, intersecting with Woodstead’s southbound trajectory, according to details released by the State Police.

The impact, which occurred around 5:15 p.m., catapulted Woodstead from his motorcycle and he was pronounced dead at the scene. Meanwhile, no injuries were reported among the occupants of the minivan involved.
The tragic incident remains under active investigation by the State Police.
